Cyber Defence and Identity Engineer

The Cyber Defence and Identity Engineer will be responsible for strengthening clients’ cybersecurity posture through advanced threat detection, response automation, and identity security strategies. This role involves managing and optimizing Microsoft Defender XDR and Sentinel SIEM, conducting proactive threat hunting with KQL, and developing SOAR playbooks for automated containment. The engineer will implement Zero-Trust frameworks, enforce Conditional Access and MFA, manage privileged identities, and lead incident response investigations. This position demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset to adapt to evolving cyber threats.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or detection engineering
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Defender XDR, Sentinel, and KQL scripting
  • Experience in SOAR automation, incident response, and digital forensics
  • Strong understanding of Zero-Trust, IAM, and MFA/Conditional Access policies

Backup and Disaster Recovery (DR) Engineer

The Backup and DR Engineer will ensure clients’ data protection and operational continuity through the design and management of Veeam and Acronis backup solutions. The role involves enforcing immutability, object-lock, and multi-factor deletion protection within Canadian-hosted cloud environments. Responsibilities include conducting clean-room restore drills, validating recovery integrity, documenting verified restore points, and coordinating safe recovery during incidents. The engineer will maintain compliance with PHIPA and PIPEDA standards and continuously optimize backup performance and reliability.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Information Technology, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years in data backup, recovery, or systems administration
  • Hands-on experience with Veeam, Acronis, or similar platforms
  • Knowledge of immutable storage, encryption, and access controls
  • Familiarity with disaster recovery testing and documentation best practices

Data Protection and DLP Analyst

The Data Protection and DLP Analyst will safeguard sensitive information and ensure compliance with privacy and data protection regulations. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining data classification, labeling, and DLP policies across Microsoft 365 and cloud platforms. The analyst will implement encryption and secure sharing configurations, manage insider risk controls, and conduct continuous compliance mapping aligned with PHIPA, PIPEDA, PCI, and HIPAA. The role also includes monitoring DLP alerts, triaging incidents, and deploying user training for policy awareness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related discipline
  • 2–4 years of experience in data protection, compliance, or DLP operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Purview, Information Protection, and DLP technologies

Cloud Security Architect

The Cloud Security Architect will design and implement secure, compliant, and scalable cloud architectures tailored to clients’ regulatory and operational needs. The role includes developing Zero-Trust environments, deploying Conditional Access, MFA, and passwordless authentication, as well as architecting secure data flows across Microsoft 365 and Azure. The architect will also integrate Sentinel, Defender XDR, and SOAR automation, translate regulations into policy-as-code, and ensure cloud resilience through immutable storage and clean-room recovery designs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud or cybersecurity architecture
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, and Zero-Trust principles
  • Hands-on experience with Sentinel, Defender XDR, and SOAR playbooks
  • Understanding of PHIPA, PIPEDA, PCI DSS, and HIPAA compliance standards

Regulatory Compliance Specialist

The Regulatory Compliance Specialist will ensure that Iman Cyber Shield Ltd. and its clients comply with Canadian cybersecurity and privacy regulations, including PIPEDA, PHIPA, PCI DSS, and HIPAA. This role involves developing compliance frameworks, conducting audits, and translating regulatory requirements into policy-as-code implementations using Microsoft Intune, Entra, and Purview. The specialist will manage continuous controls monitoring, automate evidence collection, and support clients during external audits and insurer reviews.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or Information Security
  • 3+ years of experience in compliance, GRC, or cybersecurity governance
  • Knowledge of PHIPA, PIPEDA, PCI DSS, and HIPAA frameworks
  • Experience with audit preparation, evidence tracking, and risk assessments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Marketing Specialist
